The Maine Cancer Genomics Initiative (MCGI), an alliance of Maine oncology providers, led by The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), is pleased to present its 4th annual MCGI Forum in a virtual format. The goal of the forum is to bring together the Maine oncology community and provide insights about the impact of precision oncology. Join us for this two-day event as we focus on access to and interpretability of precision medicine treatment options for the Maine oncology community.
We are "Building Bridges Through Genomic Medicine." During the 2021 Forum we will feature several key areas of precision oncology. The MCGI team aims to build the bridge between new translational research developments and clinical application. We have an exciting line-up of educational presentations from a number of high-profile speakers including Jedd Wolchok (Chief of Immuno-Oncology Service at MSKCC), Richard Schilsky (CMO of ASCO), and David Ashley (Director of the Brain Tumor Center at Duke Cancer Center). The event will also feature a series of roundtable discussions that participants can choose from including discussions on genomic tumor board coordination, the JAX Clinical Knowledgebase, electronic data capture systems in MCGI studies, and more. Further information with schedule details and additional speakers will be available soon! We look forward to having you join us for this event.
The 2021 Virtual MCGI Forum will bring together the oncology community in Maine and beyond and provide the opportunity to reflect on the successes of MCGI to date and to share insights about the broader impacts of precision oncology.
