My studies focus on evolution and function implications of structural variations in human population.
I introduce myself as a computational biologist studying evolution using genomics approaches. Before joining JAX, I have been studying evolution of mammalian including human and livestock animals using population genomics approach.

Research HighlightAugust 23, 2023New insights from fully sequencing 43 human Y chromosomes
New research presents the complete sequences of multiple human Y chromosomes from lineages from around the globe for the first time. This provides an essential step forward in understanding the roles of the Y chromosome in human evolution and biology.
