Developing preclinical mouse models of rare and orphan disease that can provide a foundation that is essential for the discovery of therapeutic treatments.

Jenny Morgenweck is a Program Manager for the Genetic Resource Science group and works in the operations of the Rare and Orphan Disease Center at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX). Her responsibilities include coordinating various efforts across JAX in addition to working with patient foundations in the development of novel mouse models for the study of rare disease. Dr. Morgenweck has over 10 years of experience in behavioral and physiological phenotyping, in addition to novel therapeutic compound development targeting mouse models of inflammatory and neuropathic pain.
