The Advances in Genomic Technology Development (AGTD) 2023 Annual Meeting will be held in-person from 8:30 am Tuesday, June 6, until 4:00 pm Thursday, June 8, at The Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine in La Jolla, CA.The purpose of the meeting is to provide an open forum to discuss key scientific and technical challenges faced with advanced sequencing, genomic, and synthetic nucleic acid technologies. The meeting will bring together NHGRI Genomic Technology (GT) Program grantees who have insights that could synergistically help to develop a broad suite of novel methods. Activities are designed to update fellow grantees, NHGRI and the TDCC about progress in the field and specific funded projects, facilitate collaborations, and provide an interactive forum of presentations and networking opportunities for faculty/PIs, lab members and trainees.
Please have all GT Program members, including faculty, lab members and trainees, who wish to attend the meeting register through the links below before the registration deadline. In person attendance has closed at this time Virtual Registration is available. Our goal is to have an interactive and vibrant meeting with an inclusive environment. However, attendance at the meeting is restricted to GT Program members and presentations will contain unpublished information and data: please do not share or forward links, presentations, or data from the meeting. Pre-meeting information, including the full schedule, logistics, and any changes to the program, will continue to be provided and updated on this webpage.
GT Program members are also encouraged to participate in the free, publicly-accessible, virtual AGTD Outreach Series prior to the AGTD Meeting. This introduction to the development, uses, and challenges of a variety of new genomic technologies may enable a broader understanding of these technologies outside of GT Program members’ immediate expertise and facilitate multi-disciplinary collaboration. More information and registration can be found here.
Presenter Information:
We request that all presenters upload their PPT or Keynote files in advance of their talk to assist with the talk transition times. All presentations should be uploaded at least 24 hours in advance of your schedule talk time to our file upload link. Please save your file with your last name in the title. If you make changes, please include the version number in your file so we replace the older version with the Audio-Visual team.
Poster Presentations:
There will be two poster sessions during the meeting. You will receive an email directly from Jeremy Charette, to confirm which day you will be presenting. Presenters are responsible for printing their posters and bringing them with them to the meeting. Poster dimensions cannot exceed 48”x48” (4ftx4ft). Push pins will be provided; presenters are expected to remove their posters immediately after each session.
