Victoria Godoy

Clinical Genomic Technologist

Victoria is a technologist in the Clinical Genomics Laboratory at JAX-GM, where she works on research projects and the development and implementation of new processes.

Victoria joined JAX Genomic Medicine in the clinical laboratory in May of 2020 during the pandemic. She has been responsible for the processing of COVID-19 testing, and recently transitioned to a research role in which she aids in the development and implementation of new processes utilized in the lab. Prior to her current role, she received a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut, where she also worked in a drug-discovery project involving human Protein Kinase R in the Cole Lab. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Genomics at the University of Connecticut, and her main interests are genetics and cancer research.
