In the Hinson Lab, I am utilizing iPSC and in-vivo mice models to dissect out the genetic and molecular basis of dilated cardiomyopathies. We harness the power of genomic tools such as CRISPR-Cas9 to facilitate our studies. Prior to my current appointment, I have worked with fruit flies to study the underlying mechanism of developmental hematopoiesis.
