About

The 7th annual MCGI Forum, hosted by the Maine Cancer Genomics Initiative (MCGI), is set to take place on April 12-13, 2024. This event will offer a hybrid conference experience, with both in-person sessions at the Portland Sheraton at Sable Oaks in South Portland, ME, and virtual participation through zoom.

This two-day event will feature sessions dedicated to seven key areas:

Clinical Trials

Emerging Research

Clinical Technologies

Genomic Tumor Board Workshop

New Treatment Approaches

The Big Picture

We invite you to join us for a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts, researchers, and advocates in the field of cancer genomics.

Complimentary Accommodations:

Thursday and Friday, April 11-12 for Understanding Genomic Tumor Test Reports Workshop attendees.
Friday and Saturday, April 12-13 for Maine-based physicians.
Friday, April 12 for all other in-person attendees.

If you are interested in extending your stay past the dates of complimentary lodging, the hotel will offer you a group rate of $139/night. You will be responsible for this rate and charged directly by the hotel at check-in.

Attendees are welcome to bring a guest to social events (meals) for a charge of $150 to be paid in advance of the meeting.

Attendees from the for-profit healthcare industry may register after 3/1/24 for any remaining in person spaces at the Forum. A charge of $300 will be collected at registration to cover overnight accommodations and meals.

From the Portland Jetport (About 6 minutes):

Follow Jetport Blvd to Johnson Rd in South Portland
Turn left on Johnson Rd then right onto Maine Mall Rd
Turn right onto Gorham Rd then right onto Sable Oaks Dr

From the Bangor International Airport (About 2 hour 2 min):

Get on I-95 S/ME-15 S from Godfrey Blvd and Maine Ave
Follow I-95 S and I-295 S to Maine Mall Rd in South Portland
Take the exit toward Jetport from Samantha Smith Wy
Continue on Maine Mall Rd then turn right onto Sable Oaks Dr
