I am investigating how aging reshapes splicing in the mammary gland and influences breast cancer risk.

Aging is a major risk factor for breast cancer. My research uses short-read and long-read RNA sequencing to examine how spliced isoforms change with age in healthy mouse and human mammary tissues. By uncovering the molecular mechanisms that characterize aging mammary tissue, this work aims to reveal new breast cancer risk factors and identify targets for early detection, intervention, and prevention.
