With 12 years of research experience in ion channel physiology, circuit neuroscience and biology of addiction, I deeply appreciate the importance of transgenic mouse models as well as the challenges in building them. I am now working to improve current technologies in transgenesis and gene editing, with a focus on Bxb1 integrase-mediated knock-in of large donor DNAs.
