As an experienced professional in library and information services, I have amassed over twenty years of expertise in academic and biomedical research libraries. My specializations include managing library operations, developing innovative services, and supporting biomedical research through advanced information management technologies.
In my role as the Discovery & Metadata Librarian at The Jackson Laboratory, I lead a team dedicated to working with faculty and users to customize library services that cater to the diverse needs of both researchers and non-researchers across JAX. We have successfully implemented several information technologies designed to improve access to our extensive scholarly resources. I also conduct bibliometric analyses to measure research impact and offer bespoke research support to library patrons. To promote open science communication, we introduced multiple read & publish agreements in 2024.
