Jay joined the Jackson Laboratory in September 2002. In his current role, Jay provides strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and management of financial risks. Jay works closely with executive leaders to develop strategy and financial plans for research, education, and administrative functions. Before joining JAX, Jay served as a loan officer at University Credit Union in Orono, Maine. Jay holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Maine.
