Using machine learning and AI to diagnose cancers, and see why they develop in the first place.

My work focuses on using machine learning and AI to analyze and diagnose diseases from hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stained slides. These images are abundant and available to nearly every patient, therefore gleaning as much information from these slides as possible would could be helpful for precision treatments.

Additionally, I use imaging to try to uncover why and how lung cancer forms, specifically in the context of aging.
