Yongjun earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Florida International University, where she investigated the role of the Rab5 protein in adipogenesis through cell signaling pathways. With over 10 years of experience in molecular biology, Yungjun is skilled in a broad range of molecular techniques. At JAX, she supports research by preparing diverse types of sequencing libraries and generating data across Illumina, PacBio, and Oxford Nanopore platforms.
