Before joining the Chesler Lab, I was a behavioral researcher at the University of Minnesota where I performed mouse behavioral experiments and helped manage the Mouse Behavior Core. I had the privilege of working with many labs spanning multiple research areas, including spinocerebellar ataxia, Alzheimer's, Huntington's, and addiction. In 2024, I completed a masters degree in biological sciences with an emphasis on computational biology before starting with the Chesler Lab as a scientific curator for GeneWeaver. My current work includes curating genesets related to alcohol, cocaine, and opioid addiction, performing analyses, and providing insights to the team as a test-user for GeneWeaver. I also work occasionally on other curatorial activities and analyses for related web-based software systems at JAX.
