Primary research interests include neurobiology, infectious disease, cancer genetics, drug discovery/development and emerging technologies.
Prior to joining the Jackson Laboratory my work focused on neurobiology at HHMI (Columbia University) and Merck & CO., infectious disease at Merck & CO., cancer genetics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, drug discovery/development at Merck & CO. and Chugai Pharmaceutical CO. and emerging technologies at Merck & CO.
Since joining JAX my work has focused on developing and assisting in the management of a high- throughput genetic quality-control platform to assure the genetic integrity of the mice for KOMPII. I am also involved in implementing CRISPR research and development for KOMP. Other responsibilities have included assisting in model-development projects for the group.
