Sloan Friedman has a background in Marine Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is currently working at The Jackson Laboratory as a Research Project Manager supporting the Computational Sciences Team within JAX Data Science, where he leverages agile methodologies and project management tools to facilitate innovation-driven workflows and collaborations. Previously, he worked in Toxicology, where he helped write and edit preclinical study protocols and reports within various therapeutic areas, including oncology and rare disease models. His expertise includes data review, project planning, quality oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. He has over five years of experience implementing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives across various businesses and industries.
