I earned my B.Tech in Biotechnology from Anna University in India, and an M.S. in Biotechnology from the University at Buffalo. For my master's thesis, I focused on developing humanized antibodies for triple negative breast cancer. After my master’s, I worked in the biotech industry, gaining experience in fields including stem cells, neuroscience, CRISPR gene editing, and RNA therapeutics. I am now a graduate student at the University of Connecticut in Dr. Eric Wang’s lab at the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine. My current research investigates how cellular quiescence drives therapy resistance and relapse in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), using a novel quiescence reporter system to uncover the underlying molecular mechanisms and inform new combination treatment strategies.
