I manage the Monoclonal Antibody and Protein Production (MAPP), a part of the Protein Sciences Service. MAPP expresses/purifies proteins from enzymatic reagents to novel proteins to novel monoclonal antibodies for JAX researchers. All proteins are analyzed for identity, homogeneity, and purity. Additionally, MAPP has created and implements an antibody validation pipeline. MAPP also performs protein-focused biochemical experiments such as ELISAs and Western Blots.
