I have worked 12 years here at the Jackson Laboratory. I started in animal care and worked my way to a Technologist II level. From there, I joined XLIS in 2018 doing cancer research. I am now the supervisor for Xenografting and Live Imaging Service.
Here at XLIS we specialize in orthotopic xenografts including xenografting in the brain, femur, mammary fat pad, pancreas, kidney capsule, and more. We also live image mice implanted with different cancer models marked with fluorescent proteins and/or bioluminescent genes.
We are part of Scientific Services and have worked with internal and external clients of the Jackson Laboratory.
