JAX Repository’s Director of Strain Acquisition and Curation is responsible for the team supporting JAX’s strategic initiatives such as sustainability expansion. This is done by retaining and strengthening JAX’s position as the preeminent source of mouse models and related services to the global research community by identifying, acquiring, curating and distributing biomedically important mouse strains. The acquired models serve as a primary source of new additions to JAX‘s portfolio of public offerings, and thus are critical to achieving revenue goals, as well as maintaining JAX’s well-respected position as global steward for making novel mouse lines available to the scientific community.
