The Jackson Laboratory's Charles E. Hewett Center in Ellsworth, which opened in late 2018, offers the global biomedical research community increased access to JAX® Mice opportunistic- and pathogen-free health status.
The facility represents the culmination of over nine decades of unmatched experience and leadership in breeding and caring for laboratory mice. Sited on 18 acres, with 343,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility is the only one of its kind in the world.
