Targeted (Null/Knockout) | Ifngr2 | interferon gamma receptor 2 |
The Ifngr2 allele was made in W9.5 ES cells (129S1/Sv-p+ Tyr+ KitlSl-J/+ background) and was imported into The Jackson Laboratory from Paul Rothman on a B6,129 segregating background. It was backcrossed onto NOD/Lt and a genome scan was run to select for NOD/Lt markers at Idd1 through Idd15 (performed as described in Serreze et al., J Exp Med, 1996). This strain was then fixed homozygous at N8. It is maintained by sibling breeding homozygotes. (Serreze et al., 2000, Lu et al., 1998.)
