Cysltr2T2a-Cre knock-in mice express Cre recombinase from the mouse cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 2 (Cysltr2) promoter, which was found to label&nbsp;CYSLTR2+&nbsp;dorsal root ganglia (DRG) somatosensory neurons of adult mice. During development, Cre is also expressed in a small number of non-neuronal cells in the DRG. CYSLTR2 is present also in some vagal and enteric neurons. In peripheral tissues outside of the nervous system, CYSLTR2 is present in immune cells, smooth muscle and other cells. The mice demonstrate no overt phenotype. Expression of Cysltr2 is not affected by the presence of the mutation.
