Detailed description

These mice carry a transgenic insertion containing three of the genes absent in the bpck deletion (see Stock #008044), Pdp1, 1700123M08Rik, and Tmem67. No visible or histopathologic phenotypes have been observed in these mice.

Development

This BAC transgene was generated via random insertion in C57BL/6J and was maintained on that background. In 2007 sperm from hemizygous males at generation N2 were cryopreserved.
