The homozygous strains NOD.Cg-Il10^tm1Cgn/Dvs at N8 and NOD.129P2(B6)-Il4^tm1Cgn/Dvs at N9 were crossed together then sibling mated to make a strain homozygous for Il10^tm1Cgn and Il4^tm1Cgn considered to be the equivalent of N8 on the NOD background.
