This inbred strain is characterized by low tumor incidence and resistance to induction of leukemia by Moloney virus. Nodular hyperplasia and adrenal adenomas are seen in at least 10% of old mice. Gonadectomy at 6 weeks enhances adenomas.  Some obesity occurs and breeding ceases at approximately 9 months o age. (Law L. W.
