Detailed description

Mice homozygous for the Il2ra^tm1Dw targeted mutation are are characterized by a lymphoproliferative disorder, hemolytic anemia and an inflammatory bowel disease beginning at approximately 9 weeks of age. Homozygous females may not be healthy enough to breed. Il2ra is also known as p55 gene chain, Ly43, CD25.

This strain also is available C57BL/6 congenic background (Stock No. 002952).
