This strain is congenic for the electrophoretic variant Gsp^b and Ldr1^b.

Development

The Ldr1^b and Gsr^b alleles were backcrossed from SWR/J onto C57BL/6J. Subsequent to backcross generation N10 this strain was maintained by sibling intercrossing to generate a congenic homozygous for both alleles. Embryos were generated for cryopreservation at approximately N10F14.
