This congenic strain carries the H2qp1 haplotype along with H2-T18b from DA/HuSn (Stock No. 000660).
This is a “Congenic Resistant” strain of mice developed by George D. Snell with Marianna Cherry in their studies of histocompatibility. [Snell, G.D. 1978. In Origins of Inbred Mice (H.C. Morse III, ed.). Academic Press, New York.]
The H2qp1 haplotype, including H2-T18b from DA/HuSn, was transferred onto DBA/1JSn by the equivalent of 10 generations of backcrossing before being maintained by sib matings. Embryos were cryopreserved during 1991-93 at generation N10F45.
