KOMP Gene Nominations

We invite gene nomination submissions from the research community  for phase II of the JAX KOMP production and phenotyping program. The goal of this second phase is to generate 1000 new mouse lines using CRISPR/Cas9 to delete critical coding regions/exons and characterize these lines using the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) phenotyping pipeline.  Selection criteria are restricted to protein coding genes with no pre-existing mouse models.  Priority will be given to genes with relevance to human disease but we cannot guarantee our attempt to generate a null allele. All animal models will be made publicly available once successful transmission of the desired allele has been confirmed. If your gene is selected for production, you can track its progress through the pipeline by registering interest at www.mousephenotype.org. Please fill out the form below to submit your request. Thank you!
