Nattaya Damkham

Visiting Trainee

I am working in Nishina's Lab as a research scholar. My current research is about characterization of mouse eye phenotypes in several mouse model.

I am a PhD student from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. I have joined to Nishina's Lab since July 2019 as a research scholar. At The Jackson Laboratory, I am focusing on characterization of mutation of Ctnna1 and Crb1 genes and other modifier model during eye development. I am also studying the pathway related to inherited-retina degeneration in mouse model. Moreover, I am studying the role of microglia that correlated to cause lesions or not. We have generated several of mice strains for photoreceptor degeneration study.
