Kyungin has been working on behavioral neurosciences in addiction, emotion, and memory. He is focused on studies of gene functions by using mouse behaviors such as locomotor activity, behavioral sensitization, conditioned place preference, self-administration, passive avoidance, Y maze, Morris water maze, tail suspension test, forced swimming test, elevated plus maze, marble burying test, nest building test, nociception test, and molecular biology such as western blot, PCR, and qPCR.
