Jason Macklin

HPC Systems Engineer

Enabling computational research for scientific discovery by designing and engineering stable, capable platforms suited to the research community needs. This includes a constant re-evaluation of existing infrastructure and workflows while considering new and emerging technologies.

One users computational needs do not equal another users needs. Maintaining an HPC environment that is both stable and dynamic for all compute needs is an exercise in chaos. I enjoy the challenges that come with each request and relish the opportunity of finding a feasible solution that integrates nicely with existing infrastructure, but that also meets the criteria of the requester.

If you have a computational requirement I look forward to chatting with you!
