I am a MD/PhD candidate with a research background in cell biology. For my PhD, I am utilizing novel technology to uncover protein interactions and translational mediators of human cardiomyocytes.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology from McGill University. I then attended Johns Hopkins University where I completed a Master of Science working in the lab Dr. Hardwick, who is an expert in programmed cell death. I am currently an MD/PhD student at the University of Connecticut conducting my graduate training with Dr. Travis Hinson, where I study genetic and proteomic networks in human cardiomyocytes. My ultimate career goal is to become a physician-scientist researching pediatric genetic disorders.
