Research Scientist

Development and implementation of new single cell transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, epigenetics and cellular modeling.

Previously, as an Associate Research Scientist, investigator in PsychEncode consortium, and NARSAD Young Investigator grantee at Yale University, I used hiPSCs and next-gen sequencing technologies to advance our understanding of epigenetic regulatory events that govern early human brain development (PsychENCODE project – Nature Neuroscience, 2015). To this end, I used 3D iPSC-derived organoids system in combination with ChIP-seq and RNA-seq to monitor gene regulation and the activity of predicted enhancer in different cell types. This work was published in the Science (Vol. 362, eaat6720, 2018).
