Computational and Systems approaches to biology
Leinani is a research intern who graduated from New College of Florida in 2019. The focus of her undergraduate studies was Biology and Computer Science, and she wrote a senior thesis on the intersection of AI and creativity from an embodied, dynamical systems perspective. Leinani is excited to work on computational/Machine Learning approaches to biology at the Kumar Lab.
She is currently working on projects related to aging and nociception.
