JAX Summer Student Selena Neptune Bear
Each year, nearly 50 high school and college students come to The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) to launch their journeys into science through our Summer Student Program (SSP).
Selena Neptune Bear is one of the many bright young scientists who have spent summers learning at JAX over the course of the SSP’s long and distinguished history.
Support the next generation of scientific leaders today.
Your support can help fund an ongoing summer student scholarship at JAX, a scholarship for a student to attend a short-term summer program in a specific disease area like cancer or neurodegenerative disorders, or a JAX College scholarship for a student from an underserved background who will pursue a college degree and aspire to a career in biomedicine.
