MAN’S BEST FRIEND, INDEED!

Canines Curing Cancer

Our dogs, our closest companions, already bring so much joy into our families through their friendship and loyalty. Now, dogs are showing us what it truly means to be man’s best friend by helping to take care of us.

Not only do dogs get the same kinds of brain cancers as humans, but their immune systems also react very similarly to treatments aimed at harnessing immunity to combat tumors.

JAX scientists are working to understand these similarities and how they can help in the search for better, more personalized medical treatments for people with cancer. Even better, the findings will improve treatments for our canine companions as well.

Will you join us today by donating to JAX’s 2018 Canines Curing Cancer Appeal?  Every dollar helps, and every contribution brings us one step closer to cures for the world’s deadliest cancers for humans and dogs alike, like brain cancer.
