Welcome to the 2022 annual NHGRI CEGS meeting! This three day meeting will be held Oct. 18-20 at Duke University (Durham, NC) and we look forward to an interactive and vibrant meeting with an inclusive environment. We are enthusiastic about resuming a safe, in-person meeting format and encourage participants to start planning travel and accommodations (suggestions below). However, a virtual option is available to CEGS Program members that cannot or choose not to travel. Both the COVID-19 safety guidelines and the Code of Conduct for the meeting are posted below: please read these before registering for and attending the meeting. Reports can be submitted by those who experience harassment or discrimination as well as by those who witness violations of the behavior laid out in this Code. The TDCC will act as needed to resolve the matter, up to and including immediate expulsion of the offending participant(s) from the meeting and exclusion from future events offered by the TDCC. Individuals at any NIH-supported conference who have questions, concerns or complaints related to harassment or discrimination can also file a report with the HHS Office for Civil Rights (OCR) or notify NIH. Seeking assistance from a program organizer in no way prohibits filing complaints with HHS OCR.
