This workshop covers the basics of image analysis using Python. It is geared toward those with low-to-moderate programming experience, but beginners should be able to follow along with the provided tutorial code. Students will learn how to interactively explore their image data with a Jupyter Notebook. The workshop will cover image file management, basic processing such as rescaling and filtering, and basic analytical techniques such as image segmentation and fluorescence colocalization.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with Python and Jupyter Notebook. Remote participation will not be supported, so please make sure that you can be physically present.
