In this 5 day intensive course, our esteemed JAX faculty will present topics that go beyond the basics of mouse genetics including:
Participants will practice acquired skills during afternoon workshops. To extend the learning, evening sessions will consist of keynote lectures, essential readings and/or problem sets. The week will culminate with a networking banquet.
This course is intended for graduate students that have completed basic genetics coursework requirements and are looking for further instruction in modern mouse genetics. Postdocs and junior faculty transitioning to the mouse model are also welcome to register.

On-campus double occupancy housing in rustic cabins will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. This option is for course participants only.

Rental cars are available from Hertz at BHB and BGR
There is a free bus system available that runs throughout Bar Harbor - Island Explorer. The Jackson Laboratory is located between The Village Green and Sieur de Monts on the Sand Beach (Bus 3) Route.
