Jennifer Corrigan, M.S., Senior Technical Trainer – Jennifer specializes in the development and delivery of mouse related technical training. She brings over 18 years of experience in mouse genetics, bioinformatics, nomenclature, mouse surgery and assisted reproductive technologies to her courses and workshops.
Alison Kieffer, MBA, Genomics Education Laboratory Specialist – Alison received her B.A. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and her MBA from Husson University.
Kelly LaRue, Ph.D., Genomics Education Specialist – Kelly received her B.S. in Biochemistry from Dickinson College and her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. With experience in teaching and outreach during her graduate work, she joined the Courses and Conferences team in March 2015. She focuses on course design and innovation, but additionally manages the training laboratory and serves as faculty for some courses.
Melissa Johnson, B.A., Senior Event Planner – Melissa received her B.A. in Business Administration from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
Erin McDevitt, Senior Event Planner – Erin manages a portfolio of courses and workshops, develops event budgets and manages the registration efforts of Courses and Conferences. Erin brings more than a decade of experience to the Courses and Conferences team.
Charles Wray, Ph.D., Director Courses and Conferences – Charlie has over 20 years of educational and research experience across a range of topics in genetics and genomics. At JAX he is innovating existing courses through addition of blended content, launching new programs and running a multi-state teacher professional development program. Charlie received his B.A. from Amherst College and his Ph.D. from Yale University; he was a post-doctoral fellow at UCLA and UC Berkeley.
