Melissa Rockwood joined the MCGI team in August 2020 as a Genomic Tumor Board Coordinator and has been a valued member of the JAX community for more than 20 years. She comes to us from her most recent role in Human Resources as a scientific recruiter, focused on faculty and postdoctoral recruitment. Previously, she worked for 12 years as an assistant to the vice president for research. In 2016,  Melissa was instrumental in the setup of the MCGI central office and its back-room processes. Her wide-ranging experience includes communications, organization of high-profile meetings, and logistics management both at JAX and in other non-profit settings. Melissa holds an M.S. in Management with a healthcare focus from Lesley University and a B.S. in Biology from Boston University.
