Edward Huttlin, Ph.D.

Ed Huttlin received his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Madison working in the lab of Michael Sussman and has subsequently worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Steve Gygi at Harvard Medical School. Throughout his research career, Ed has specialized in proteomics and mass spectrometry, with special emphasis in computational and informatic analysis of proteomics data.

Ed is currently an Instructor in Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School.  In collaboration with Steve Gygi and Wade Harper at HMS, he is currently directing a large-scale effort to map protein interaction networks in human cells using affinity purification mass spectrometry.
