Victoria Godoy is a Clinical Genomic Technologist at the Jackson Laboratory. She started at the CLIA Virology laboratory in May of 2020, and since then she has been responsible for the processing of COVID-19 testing and Next-Generation sequencing of samples, as well as aiding in the development and implementation of new processes utilized in the lab. Prior to her current role, she received a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut, where she also worked in a drug-discovery project involving human Protein Kinase R in the Cole Lab. She is currently working towards her master’s degree in Applied Genomics at the University of Connecticut, as well as her M.B(ASCP) certification.
