Rudolf Reception
On July 14, 2009, 160 friends and supporters of The Jackson Laboratory enjoyed the annual Rudolf Reception. Our guests had an opportunity to hear Dr. Susan Ackerman talk about her investigation of the mechanisms underlying the diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
Bill and Edith Rudolf have hosted this reception at The Jackson Laboratory since 1998. This year we paid tribute to the Rudolfs with a surprise announcement. The Rudolf New Investigator Fund was unveiled with initial gifts totaling over $128,000! This fund will support new investigators as they pursue their research goals and help the Laboratory in leading the search for tomorrow’s cures.
