Scott's facination with science and Renee's very personal connection to the research that we do at the Lab brought this dynamic couple into our community of supporters.
Bill Harwood
Bill, who attended Jackson’s Summer Student Program in 1969, has grown even more enthusiastic about the Laboratory over the years. He became a Laboratory Trustee in 2003 and is a founding member of the Portland chapter of The National Council, a volunteer network of Laboratory supporters.
The Hirschhorns
Like mother, like daughter. Ann Hirschhorn, M.D., was a summer student at Jackson and has been an active supporter of the Laboratory for years. Her daughter Abigail followed in her footsteps as a summer student, and served six years on the Laboratory's former Corporation body.
