The votes are in: Scientists rank Jackson in top 20 U.S. "Best Places to Work in Academia"

The Jackson Laboratory was voted among the top 20 "Best Places to Work in Academia" in the United States for 2008. The poll was conducted by The Scientist, a magazine for people working in the life sciences.
Readers participating in the survey cited job satisfaction and pay as The Jackson Laboratory's greatest workplace strengths. The Laboratory was ranked number 19 among U.S. academic research institutions. The results of the survey are published in the November edition of The Scientist.
