Sam Robertson Little
National Council President
Sam Little is a registered architect living in Philadelphia with a professional focus on transportation, transit and environmental planning. He is married to Frances Dalton, an attorney, and they have three sons. He and his family have had a long association with The Jackson Laboratory. His grandfather, Clarence Cook Little, was the Laboratory’s first director. Mr. Little has served on the Board since 2000 and joined the Corporation in 1987.

William M. Rudolf
National Council President Emeritus
Mr. Rudolf is the founding President of The National Council, the Laboratory’s formal network of supporters and President of William Rudolf, Inc., consultant in metals and energy markets. He has been an avid supporter of The Jackson Laboratory for over 25 years as a volunteer, member of the Corporation and Board of Governing Trustees, co-chair of the New York Region and, along with his wife, Edith, member of the Laboratory’s planned giving group, Society for Discovery. Since 1995, he and Mrs. Rudolf have hosted a signature scientific presentation and reception on Mount Desert Island, Maine, drawing countless new friends and supporters into the Laboratory family.
