Groups of 120 female and 80 male mice were weighed weekly. Mice were fed a diet containing 6% fat (LabDiet 5K52 formulation). Values represent mean and one standard deviation. Ages are ± 3 days. Mice were removed from the study when blood glucose exceeded 250 mg/dL. Diabetes incidence data from this study are also available. The table below shows the mean weight in grams and one standard deviation at the indicated ages.
